Following two critically acclaimed albums, the Elton John championed, Welsh multi-instrumentalist and producer The Anchoress (aka Catherine Anne Davies) releases an album of modern re-workings, 'Versions' via the Drowned in Sound label - Versions compiles 10 re-imaginings of alternative songs by the likes of Depeche Mode, The Cure, Nirvana, Nico and Halsey, all produced and mixed by Music Producer Guild twice nominated Davies. The record was mastered by Jon Astley (Peter Gabriel, Tori Amos) and also features guest appearances from multi-instrumentalist Charlie Cawood (Medieval Baebes, Lost Crowns, Knife World) The record includes her brand new take on Manic Street Preachers' 'This Is Yesterday' which she performed with the band at Isle of Wight and Glastonbury Festival 2023.
