This is an album full of classic country songs from throughout the ages, and it's sure to be an instant classic itself. The first single, 'Rose Garden', which produced a number one in 1970 for Lynn Anderson is already rising up the charts. RCA. 2005.
Reviews:
Many of the standards McBride takes on here will be familiar to even C&W dilettantes. Yet no matter how she fares with the songs of Donna Fargo, Hank Williams and Loretta Lynn, this oldies exhumation is a healthy move away from cloying contemporary material like "Gods Will" and "Shes a Butterfly."
